Wow, I’ve discovered how to grab people’s attention on Social Media so I can help more people every week I tried everything I could to catch people’s attention… But, in fact after 4 years in Network Marketing (2 using social media), I had only 1 team member. I call her my gold nugget, she is so precious to me.I made some sales with my Facebook Ads, had some leads, but not enough to make a living and have the life of my dreams with my family.I had to do something.

I hired my mentor, thank to God, it has changed everything in my life.

 This was several months ago from now. And I’d like to share what created a shift in my business, going from 1 team member in four years, to 2 in one week. I learned how to grab the attention of my perfect prospects.Here’s the 3 important things that I’ve learned :

1 – work on my Mindset 

Yes, everybody talks about it. But it is a fact, I had to believe in myself (I was so shy, introvert…) and to love and serve others in an ‘unselfish’ way. I’ve learned to focus on others instead of my products and service.It’s when you give that your receive. I know it is a Bible principle, but this one, really applies to busines.As Entrepreneurs, we need to understand it, and make it cristal clear: we have to help and serve and the rest (the money, the recognition…) will come NATURALLY.That is a law, like day and night, and the sun and the moon. I spent 3 weeks working on my mindset with my mentor. I was frustrated because that was not why I paid him for… I wanted to make leads, sales… You knew better than I did that the transition had to come from inside to outside and not from outside to inside.Hope you will understand that. It is also a shift.   

2 – Work on my value

 Ok, I knew what was the problem of my target market and how I can help them, I needed to know what I could offer them to help them solve their problems. So, my mentor gave me several ways I could help them. I’ve learned how to create valuable content, useful to my audience. Once I had a good value, I knew that some people could be interested in what I had to offer. I worked very hard on learning and knowing my target market’s problems and pains and how I could help them. My only goal became to serve the many as Jim Rohn used to say.As an introvert and shy person, I needed to learn to let that old me, and became the new me, ready to help and serve.I learnt how to create a value, webinar, ebooks… such a long and wonderful way.  

3 – Work on copywriting

This is a skill that I didn’t even know the existence before learning it. But, I must say that “challenging” class has definitely changed my life (in all its aspect).

Copywriting is a real art. It is what I use now for this blog, but also for my ads, or to talk to people in groups. It is not about trying to convince or to manipulate people to buy from you. No, it is an art of talking to people in your target market, in a elegant manner, with respect and love.

I really use it like stories. In fact, it reminds me of how Jesus use to talk to people to tell them about his Kingdom. He was telling the truth. He knew people’s need, and he knew how to help them. He is such an example to every business owner and Network Marketer trying to help people.

Love it.

And so now?

Naturally, things started to change. And I started to grab people’s attention. Just by being myself, wow. What a sad moment…

Last week was a very special week for all the French Caribbean people in France and Overseas. One of the leaders of the caribbean musical group Kassav’, Jacob Devarieux, died because of Covid 19. Yes, 2 years after its apparition, that terrible desease is still stolen life… Jacob did a lot for the French Caribbean. Contribute to make known our small island through music, through the Zouk (typical musical style) in Europe, America, Africa, and many more places. After 40 years of hard work, Jacob just died, and left us with incredible records and videos of his art and passion.  You’ll probably tell me: Nathalie, what’s the link with business, Network Marketing, and the title of your article. In fact, this is definitely link to it.  Let me explain you…  Due to Covid-19, and as Jacob was really loved, his funerals were on a local Guadeloupe (his Island) TV. So with my husband, overseas, 8000 km away from our island, we could watch it. And we could see everybody, his relatives talk about Jacob’s life.  Jacob was really appreciate, and almost all the program was related to all the love, passion and life, Jacob gave during all his life. I remember these days when I was a little child and all the French Carribean diaspora used to meet every week end, with their old souvenirs of these days in their Island. What I could remember, as a little child, was that the smells of the typical food, and the music. Jacob had such a special voice. He was gifted, Playing guitare, and singing in creole.  When the ceremonial started, the pries said something that really woke me up. He says that Jacob used to sa these words  : “God gave me a gift through music, I’m gonna spend my life using it for him”. So I’m sure now you got it… Jacob had found the purpose of his life, the reason he was on this earth, and what he has to work on everyday… For God.  I didn’t know Jacob’s faith, as he didn’t share it, but through his everyday life, God was in his purpose. Wahou, powerful.  After that,  Jaob’s daughter spoke and said some words about his father. She said : “I didn’t really know my father, he was not really present… But it is something to see what he has left and all the people that loves him… He brought so much love to people”  I was, sad, shocked, and at the same time, these words started to resonate inside of me. And in fact, I started to think about my own life. What does my family think about me? Am I present enough for my family while I’m working on my purpose? That is so important for us, entrepreneurs to understand that our family should have the first place… before our passions, before our business, before money, or any friendship.  So can we find that balance between our working life and family ? Yes, we can. Here are some tips…

1 – Find the purpose of our life

Don’t waste time, life is too short… This is very key in our life. If you are in business, think about it… is it your real destiny? When you wake up on the morning are you excited about it ? Did you join business because you’ve chosen it, to become a full time entrepreneur… or because you just needed to make some extra money ? There is nothing wrong in joining Network Marketing to make an extra money. But if you joined business and Network Marketing as your principal activity… You need to know if it is the real purpose of your life.  Maybe you’ll ask me: ‘Nathalie, how can I know that this business is the purpose of my life?’. This is a very good question in fact. I think I will definitely write a whole article on this particular topic. But for now, I’m gonna give you just one tip : meditation, prayers and your heart are keys.Well, you already know me. I believe that we all have a purpose on this earth and that we are all in this earth because of a will. God’s will was to create us for love purpose. Well, that’s not really the point here… and I don’t want you to feel bad at me now, but love is the really the center of your existence and mine too. Once this said, I definitely propose you to read a book that really helped me to understand the purpose of my life. “Created for Purpose”, from Guillermo Maldonado, is one of the book that changed your life. You don’t finish it with the same Mindset as you had when you started it. One of the book that really creates a shift in yourself, your family, and your professional life. In my case, I had a very difficult time at a moment of my life.  I Worked for twelve years as a computer science engineer before I realized this was not the purpose of my life. But before leaving that real comfortable situation, I needed to know if this business I was building was the real Purpose of my life. After one year of ‘I don’t know’, my heart knew that the aim of my life was to help other women to build their business. You cannot even imagine how a sudden peace came to me to never leave me. Even when I’m writting this post, in my garden, I am just thanking God for all the good He had planned for me, in that Purpose.  And what if you could have been made for several purposes. Have you seen some artist becoming real entrepreneurs? I’m sure you know some of them. You can think about Jennifer Lopez, who sings, produces music and also creates perfums. Well, you already know that we often limit ourself too much.  Finding the Purpose of your life is the first step to liberty. Once you find it, and be at the right place… your unique place, a place only made for you, you also have the prosperity and all the doors suddenly opens for you. Like Jacob I knew I had found the purpose of my life. And there is so much more. Each day can bring new surprise to you, new connexions. This process can take Time, but it is definitely the most important phase in someone’s life. 

2 – Your family

Once we know our destiny, it seems that everything turns around that particular points. But the thing is that, we have other things to deal with. Sometimes we have the impression that we don’t have time to take care of our family. Or even, our children want to spend more time with us. These are signals, alerts, of an emballance in our life. We have to be very careful to not miss an important aspect of our lifes. Our family needs us. That’s probably where Jacob failed… and the reason why his own daughter says that “she did’nt really know her father”.  So how can we ballance that time? Really good question! We are still learning. One of my coach, Marinda, used to say to me: You need to focus on 3 things. First, your family, second your faith, third your business. She was so helpful to me. I was in that process of fully entering my Purpose to help other women to develop their business too. Having a good coach is so important. The second thing she told me was : “you need to do two things, learning the skills to build your business and scheduling”.Waw, Ok for the learning aspect… I spend several thousands of dollars learning how to market. And as a computer science engineer and trainer, I was super excited by the digital aspect of the profession. So I needed to learn how to schedule. And how to find place for my business, around my familial and spiritual life. I had to learn it. It took time, I failed several time, but with the help of my coach, I’ve succeeded, I’ve found the balance. And sometimes when it is hard, I know that my faith is strong enough to help me to go through the wind.  To schedule my business, the hardest part was to list all the different tasks I needed to do every single day to build my brand. My goal was to build strong business… that could support my family and my projects financially.That’s what my mentor Ferny taught me. That moment was really the moment of my life when I had the shift I needed to have to move forward.

Wow… Are you actually doing the right things to build the business of your life?

Did you start MLM to have more freedom for you, for your family, for your community ?If so, this article IS for you. You need to read it NOW. Well, I don’t really love talking about my story (I think I talk about it too much sometimes), but I will start with what I know : my how story  . I started my MLM business because I wanted to have more time with my family. I had a 9 to 5 job that was not really adapted to what I expected for me and my family.  Well, In fact, as a computer science engineer and a trainer in a international bank, I was busy and I missed my family.I was also as a point of my life where I wanted to invest more time in my local Church. I was also invested in the Worship ministry. That was a lot to do, and I wanted to CREATE my perfect life. Back in 2017, when I started in MLM, I didn’t have a lot of results and had 1 team member in 4 years. Don’t laugh at me, it is a real story life. This bad experience allowed me to know some of the technics that works or not, when you want to build a business. After almost 4 years, I decided to hire my mentor, which allowed me to go from 1 team member in 4 years to 2 in a week. And here I am, sharing this story with you. So if you want to know where to invest your time to build a life of freedom, read this 3 tips that I share here. Before we start, the checklist and the video explaining how to use it is available here. Remember, consistency is key if you want to have fast results.This technic is the one I use everyday to have results in my business.

TIP 1 : Show up

One of the biggest mistake I did for 4 years was thinking that people would come to me naturally. What I mean by that, is, I really worked hard, I had a website, and some automation, BUT, nobody saw it. Why ? Because I didn’t know how it worked. YES, I had a lack of knowledge on that particular point. I know all the techi things a computer science had to do : a website, tools… but I didn’t know:– how to show up – why I should show up– what to say – what to do In fact, I didn’t know that I had to work and show my work and my abilities to the world.You see, I was comfortably installed behind my compute, hiding finally from people. I thought that I didn’t have to show up, and that the Google and Facebook algorith would do all this part of the work. What a surprise for me when I learned the skills to ‘show up’ on Social Media. I started to become more human (ah ah), and now naturally people started to come to me. They wanted to know how I had this shift in my life and my MLM business. This was one of the most powerful thing I learn with my mentor. I want to bless him here for that. So here are some of the things you can do to show up :– Facebook groups: you can post on groups inside of your target market or not. You can also comment on some post. Follow between 3 and 5 facebook groups. Find the one you can be really yourself in. – Instagram hashtags : Hashtags are like Facebook Groups. You can have the same behaviour for both. Always be respecful to the leaders of the groups. Be kind, and you’ll see people will start to follow you – In your Facebook personal profile : this is your home, where you can show what you have to offer. By this, I’m talking about your value NOT the company’s products. Remember to first build your brand before building the company’s brand. – Instagram Feed : This is the same as Facebook personal profile. Remember ONE thing : the number of people following you doesn’t matter. What’s matter is that you bring value to people. Numbers will start to increase after that. That’s how it works.Do it everyday 

TIP 2 : Influence, inspire

There is a very important aspect here. You have ideas, you know something people don’t know ? Great, so influence and inspire people. What are the problems that your target market has and you know the solution ?Simple. I know that inside of my target market, people struggles to know exactly what they should work on everyday to build their business… I’ve got the answer. Actually, this article is one of the solution I can bring to them. So, very simple, I can :– write an article in my blog (what I am currently doing)– write a Facebook Post– write in my Instagram feed– do a video that I can upload on several platforms And many more things…– Reply personaly to people who raise hand on your messenger to that particular topic…– create relationship with people you meet in groups… Remember ONE thing : it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just start, be yourself, be truthful, believe that you can help someone here on this planet. And do it. Someone really need you here. Don’t think about what people can buy from you. Just serve people. This is like a biblical principle: it’s by giving that you receive. I love it.Do it everyday 

TIP 3 : Bring your thing

In fact, tips 1 and 2 are all about bulding a relationship with people inside of your target market.At this stage they already know and like you. At some point they already trust you enough so you can propose your help. This is an art, you have to know how you can do this. Actually this step is were I really needed help. As an introvert person, I was really shy. Taking the phone to call someone was like a nightmare to me. I really had to do something. My mentor helped me to go through this problem. With other students we even did some training as an homework. I must admit, that is at this moment, that the shift happened. My friend Joseph shared tips with me. I was able to understand how to listen to people, and how to help them with what I had to offer.After that, I had almost 80% of success after each call. People joined my team, and I felt more confident. People knew they could rely on me. Remember ONE thing : you need to listen carefully to what people want. They will share a lot with you, sometimes intimate things with their fears, pain. You have to respect this relationship. Don’t sale or bring your thing before knowing what their struggles are. You need to analyse if your offer is the answer to their problem. In the beginning you’ll see you’ll have few meetings. The more you’ll show up and inspire through step 1 et 2, the more people will ask you help and you’ll lead them to step 3. Do this until you’ll do this everyday. Then stick to it. You’ve just learned the skills of Network Marketing. Congratulations: you’re a professional of Network Marketing. Believe me, shortcuts don’t exist, never. You’re at the right place to learn.
